Schatz Statement On Supreme Court’s Ohio v. EPA Decision

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Brian Schatz (D-Hawai‘i) today released the following statement on the Supreme Court’s ruling on Ohio v. Environmental Protection Agency.

“Air pollution doesn’t recognize borders—that’s exactly why Congress gave EPA the authority to regulate it. This ruling delays critical action to support the health of our communities and our planet.”
