$22 million for the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands — Funding for the Department of Hawaiian Homelands (DHHL) to help provide financial assistance to Native Hawaiian families to obtain new homes, make renovations, build community facilities, and receive housing services, including counseling, financial literacy, and other critical resources to address housing disparities.

$30 million for health care providers — Funding for 34 health care providers in Hawai‘i to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and continue providing health care for families across the state, focusing on supporting smaller health care providers that have experienced revenue losses related to the pandemic and providers serving Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program, and Medicare beneficiaries.

$50 million for airport infrastructure — Funding from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to help support airport infrastructure projects that improve safety and operations efficiency, cut congestion, and reduce the airport’s impact on the environment and neighboring communities.

$5.3 million for forest restoration — Funding from the U.S Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Natural Resource Conservation Service for climate-smart forest restoration. The restoration will occur in areas with the highest potential for carbon capture, and will also improve habitat for critically endangered bird species.

$7.1 million for Head Start and Early Head Start — Funding for the Honolulu Community Action Program to support its Head Start and Early Head Start programs. These programs provide comprehensive early childhood education and development services to low-income children and pregnant mothers.

$28 million for Native Hawaiian Education Programs — Funding for 35 Native Hawaiian education programs across the state. These multi-year competitive grants will be used for early childhood education, family engagement, Hawaiian language education, creation of STEM pathways, curriculum and professional development, and more.
